After 2 sessions with Sue, I knew I was in the best hands to relieve the pain and regain motion from the lamanectomy w fusion implant Front and back surgery. I have had pt 5 times at different facilities from various surgeries over the years and none could compare to the excellent treatments with Sue. She encourages every patient she works with praise and a “You got this” attitude. I just can’t say enough great things about her and Christina who is another therapist at the office. Christina has stepped in for Sue on the few days Sue has had off. Together they work like a well oiled machine to help every patient they treat become the best version of themselves once again! Hopefully, no more surgeries or injuries for me in the future but if I ever need PT again I would return to Phoenix PT in a heartbeat no other can compare! Just love them!

I feel most fortunate in having had the opportunity to use Phoenix Physical Therapy for rehabilitation of an extremely severe balance and walking issues of my husband Richard Densmore. Sue was both knowledgeable and intuitive in her approach to his therapy. She incorporated a program specifically designed with his needs and goals in mind using her keen sense of restorative and kinetic understanding. Sue has been instrumental in his progress to gain strength, balance and flexibility, thus bringing a new awareness to all his workouts. I cannot speak highly enough about the outstanding care I received at Phoenix Therapy in Phoenixville. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, listened to, and truly supported in my recovery journey. My physical therapist, Sue brought a perfect balance of professionalism, deep expertise, and genuine compassion. She along with Christina, her assistant, took the time to understand my specific needs, explain every step of the process, and tailor a plan that not only helped me heal but also taught me how to prevent future problems. What sets this clinic apart from others is their consistency and commitment .Every session was purposeful, progress was tracked thoughtfully, and adjustments were made based on how I was responding. Both Sue and Christina were kind, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to seeing their patients succeed. Thanks to their care for various rehabs of mine, throughout the years… Sue always gets me back to 100%. Over the top experience with Sue! First session was post neck surgery! Walked thru the door unsure that I would ever recover from a very painful surgery. I finished Sue’s program with total success able to regain the ability to move my neck without pain! Her can do attitude made me believe I could and I did! Then I returned with confidence this time that she could help my lumbar spine pain. Once again she did not disappoint! No more sciatic pain down my right leg. I can walk farther, sit and stand longer without pain thanks to the program she designed for me! I will not hesitate to recommend her to anyone suffering from pain or recovering surgery as she is the best professional pt therapist I have had over the years. No one can compare! Highly recommend you will not Be disappointed! Both Sue and Kristina made my experience at the Phoenixville location the best possible! Thank You So very much!!!!

I just finished my treatment with Dr. Sara Hughes. She does an amazing job of keeping the clinic running smoothly, clean and organized. This clinic is very open and spacious, unlike most PT clinics that are small and closed in. As for treatment, she knew exactly how to help me and support my injury healing journey. This is the place you want to be!!!

I’m an 80 year old male who, after hip replacement surgery 12 years ago, foolishly allowed my leg & hip muscles to diminish. This resulted in declining balance. I began working with Sara Hughes, PT, DPT, as my physical therapist, in January, 2026. With her encouragement & guidance, my legs have regained musculature & strength, resulting in improved balance. Sara not only gradually increased the intensity of my exercises but also helped reawaken my awareness of how I walked & carry myself. Subsequently, I had surgery to replace the knuckle on the middle finger of my left hand on May 1st. The therapy received for that involved increasing the strength & flexibility of the entire hand & decreasing the pain. I could not be more pleased & highly recommend Phoenix Physical Therapy; in particular, Sara Hughes who provides therapy & manages the Phoenixville facility!

I can’t say enough good things about Phoenix PT. I started coming here after my bunion surgery in February once I was cleared by my doctor, and the progress has been fantastic. Sara has been my primary physical therapist, and her expertise in post-surgical recovery is evident. I came to Phoenix PT for help with some lingering lower back issues, and the progress I've made is incredible. The entire staff was welcoming, professional, and cares about your recovery.
